Please feel free to call any of the above for general information regarding their a/c and experiences in dealing with YAK UK Ltd.

George Coy is a pilot with over 10,000 hours in light aircraft and has considerable experience in flying most of the Eastern European makes and models. He has been involved with Yak and ZLIN aircraft for more than 12 years. He is also a certified aircraft mechanic with inspection authorization. My first "wake up call" regarding George was when I was told of his flying a Cessna 172 to Eastern Europe early in 1992 after the fall of the USSR, this he swapped for an AN2 biplane then flying this back to the USA. An adventure with many stories one being the oil pipe bursting while over the sea 35mins out from Iceland. The big ASH 62 keep running with no oil pressure till George made land, needles to say the engine needed replacing!!

Gesoco mission statement

Our mission is to be a quality supplier of aircraft, parts, and service for Eastern European sporting and light aircraft. Since 1990 we have been supporting the YAK 50, 52, and 55 aircraft. We have imported over 80 of these aircraft into the United States. We supply parts and service for what we sell. We provide telephone support for service questions for all Yak owners. We have recently became dealers for the Walter LOM series engines. We also provide service and parts for these engines. As part of our ongoing commitment service, two of our personnel attended a service school in the Czech Republic and are certified by the LOM engine company to service their engines. We recently received an initial parts order and now inventory all the parts necessary to service the Walter and LOM engines. We also received training and are authorized to service the AVIA propellers as used on ZLIN aircraft.
